MISSION STATEMENT
Be Noble promotes environmental stewardship and social causes in memory of Erin Noble. Starting with the Amazon Creek Headwaters and surrounding forest where Erin hiked regularly, our goal is to purchase this property to prevent future development while protecting this irreplaceable natural resource area for public enjoyment and future generations.
Peter & Debarah Noble
Peter and Deborah Noble have resided in Eugene for nearly forty years. they are avid hikers and nature enthusiasts, frequently trekking the Martin St. Ridgeline Connector Trail bordering the threatened 26 acre Amazon Creek Headwaters ‘keystone’ parcel. through the years, Deborah has supported many environmental preservation efforts. Their son, Erin Noble, who perished in a light plane accident on 6/23/2012, had committed to working with Deborah on fundraising to purchase the parcel for future generations.
The Nobles are owners of a wholesale lumber distribution business in Eugene and a small re-manufacturing mill in Jasper, OR, which specializes in Alaska Yellow Cedar products. Peter is working on preservation of a 70 acre pond and wetlands site adjacent to their mill.
